Women’s Cricket Team

It was about time that we got some good news vis-a-vis Pakistani cricket. And, who else could be responsible for putting smiles on the faces of millions of Pakistani cricket fans but our Women’s Cricket team.

Captain Urooj Mumtaz and her team beat the Sri Lankan team by 57 runs at the World Cup event. This is a great milestone for the women’s cricket team and we wish them well in their upcoming matches. We are proud of you girls. Keep the flag flying high!

Angry Salman Leaves In Autorickshaw From Amrita's Wedding

Bollywood actor Salman Khan lost his temper during Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladak’s wedding on Thursday (March 5) in Mumbai, where film world’s top celebrities were in attendance. According to reports, Salman was in high spirits when he came to the party. Everything was okay till Shahrukh Khan arrived at the sangeet party of Amrita and Shakeel within 15 minutes of Salman Khan’s arrival.


The reporters, surprised to see both the Khans under the same roof, questioned Salman on whether he and SRK have buried the hatchet between them. An agitated Salman retorted with a “Why do you care?” several times, and then in a bid to escape the media left not in his Mercedes Benz but in an autorickshaw! This infuriated the actor so much that he decided to leave the ceremony instantly.
After throwing a few quick repartees at the media, Salman is reported to have got into an auto rickshaw and requested the driver to take him home. The excited driver is said to have driven a few yards, only to be stopped by Salman’s body guards and friends.







However, the other Khan in question, SRK, was diplomatic to the question. “I wish Salman Khan and his family and Amu and family all the best.” What was meant to be a night of partying for many Bollywood celebrities, finally turned into another Salman scene because of his erratic behaviour.

No Call Charges Summary for Warid Customers

Last week Warid Prepaid customers received the following message:

“Dear Customer, You can check your account balance free fo cost by dialing *100#. End of call notification service will not be available from 9th March 2009.”

This could be a move to reduce load on SMS servers. Lets see how the customers react to this as Warid was the network which introduced Call Charges Summary for prepaid customers in Pakistan.
